TAKE 2
“I was glad the Assault didn’t go to the belt drive as I have seen many of the belt drive sleds have issues with the belt or the drive shaft. The Assault was reliable and tough as expected and really fun to jump and thrash around on. It did develop a bearing squeal on the last ride I took it out, on the jackshaft. The gauge also developed condensation inside the screen which was disappointing. Otherwise the Assault was a really great backcountry freerider and worth the effort in learning to adapt to the wide front end. It has THE BEST OEM shock package in my opinion. I even convinced a Pro rider to snowcheck an Assault solely on the shock package!" -Josh Skinner, AmSnow Mountain Test Rider
