MANY OF us have been asking Arctic Cat to put out a high performance sled with a rear suspension that can actually be tuned and honed to your own personal liking. Before, you only had a few small adjustments in the slide action rear skid. For 2013 Cat gave us high-performance freaks what we’ve been asking for! The engineers and racers worked together and added FOX Evol shocks in the front suspension and FOX Zero X piggyback shocks in both arms of the rear suspension, you can finally do some fine tuning! I like both the 800 and the 1100 Turbo versions of the RR, but if I had the cash I would certainly go for the Turbo. If someone asks you if you want a Hemi, you say, YES! Plus it gets better fuel economy than the 2-stroke and, in theory, should be more reliable, longer lasting and less maintenance over the long haul. – Mark Boncher
