After reading all that comes with these sleds our brains were about ready to check out, but if you are seriously thinking about buying an EnduroVenture-type sled, consider what is most important to you before the cash register rings.
For the majority of those in this segment there are two top qualifiers here. The first is versatility/ storage and the Polaris Adventure wins here in stock form. In our pragmatic trailside discussions with average riders, the close second qualifier is warmth and comfort. We think the Cat CrossTour wins out here. We also think CrossTour has more power and style, but the Adventure handles more precisely, both on and off trail.
These are both priced within $100, starting at $12,099. So the choice is tough. Knowing how useful our 600 Adventure was as a demo sled last year our test crew was split on this one, but we all lean toward the Adventure due to our prior experience with it. We know we would like the CrossTour’s 1100 Turbo cousin if we’re talking pure power!
