Final verdict

For my aggressive riding style I would pick the Ski-Doo X-RS, but all of these sleds could be my favorite depending on the weather, length of the ride, terrain, snow conditions, group dynamics, etc.

If you are a "turn the key and go" type rider and you put on a heaping helping of miles everyday and you don’t really want to work too hard, get the Yamaha Apex SE. However if you want to bang through the moguls, slice and dice corners, and appreciate the industry’s leading 2-stroke technology, then get the Ski-Doo X-RS.

On the other hand, if having the market’s only progressive rate rear suspension and the best shocks in the industry are important to you, get the Rush 800 Pro-R.

Lastly, if you want a warm, fast, comfortable, easy to ride, tough looking sled, get the Cat F8 Sno Pro. None of these sleds will disappoint!
