2010 nytro mtx se

Amsnow
The new Nytro MTX is a vastly different machine and the improvements all add up to a machine that performs significantly better than the 09 model.

We proved this during the our first press ride in Alpine, Wyoming. We found a steep untouched powder hill to compare the climbing abilities of the 2009 MTX 153, the 2010 MTX SE 153 and 10 MTX SE 162.

First, we high-marked an '09 MTX 153 up a mountain slope we deemed as our 'test hill' as high as we could before getting stuck. Next, we jumped on a 10 MTX SE 153 and hit the same hill, but took a new line in untracked snow, it climbed about 3-4 sled lengths higher than the 09. Then we took a 2010 MTX SE 162 up the same hill again in a new line of untracked snow, it climbed about 2 sled lengths higher than the 2010 153. This small pragmatic test impressed to us that the improvements done to the rear suspension and tunnel really work. It, also, showed the tunnel and suspension improvements make a bigger difference than just a longer track. We were shocked and happy to see these results. The Nytro MTX has always been a great machine but for 2010 it bridges the performance gap between 2 and 4-stroke mountain machines.
