2010 expedition tuv fire recall

Ski-Doo has voluntarily recalled 37 units of its' 2010 Expedition TUV 1200 and model year 2010 Expedition TUV SE 1200 due to a potential fire hazard, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
According to the CPSC's website, friction between the fuel hose and the electronic control unit can cause the fuel hose to wear and leak fuel, posing a fire hazard.
The CPSC reports there were six fuel leaks reported, three of which resulted in vehicle fires. One of the incidents involved a rider suffering superficial burns.
If you are unsure if your sled is affected, All sleds have their model name and number displayed on the side and in the registration materials/owner's manual.
These sleds were sold nationwide from March 2009 through April 2010 for between $8,000 and $9,000.
Riders should immediately stop using their snowmobile and contact their local Ski-Doo dealer to schedule a free repair. Ski-Doo has notified registered owners directly about this recall through the mail.
