Top of the Food Chain?This engine is living up to the horsepower hype that the Cat folks gave us, but the F8 is still heavy when compared to competing sleds. We will again be wet-weighing all our long-term demo sleds this year and comparing the numbers at our Real World Shootout; look for that in our Spring issue. Also, we will have a new Cat 800 at our Adirondack Shootout in December and you'll see that data in the February issue.
It's just a matter of time to see how this new high-tech, high-horse 800 stacks up against the competition in season, but confidence is high among the Cat faithful.
