Changes made
Originally, the Dragon and many other 2009 Polaris sleds were to come with the P2 driven (secondary) clutch, but in the end, only a few 2009 sleds, like the low-cost 550 Shift, ended up with the new P2. Our Dragon 800 had the venerable P-85 primary and LWT Team secondary clutch set-up.

In addition, the Dragon came with the new-for-2009 lower control arm/sway bar system. While we found that steering effort was less, the Dragon seemed to be more tippy than the 2008 IQ sleds. The new seat and taller 5.25-inch riser with flat bar may have played a part in changing the center of balance and the Dragon's feeling of body-roll.
Finally, we mentioned in our Spring issue that after we had the factory re-map done to our sled in early January, we also re-clutched the sled with 10-70 weights.

The weights and the addition of iridium BTR9EIX sparkplugs were not covered by warranty. This, along with the re-map as well as making sure our ethanol wires were always plugged in, were enough to help our Dragon run flawlessly, along with all the powerful, fiery, wicked engine performance that the factory had promised.
