Things to note
Mileage was not impressive with this 794cc 2-stroke EFI engine. For the season, we hovered just north of 11 mpg and at our Real World Shootout we saw 10.90.
In addition, there isn't much adjustability in this suspension. Basically you have spring adjustability up front, torsion spring, and front shock spring adjustability in back, and you can change the coupler block setting. There's no compression damping or other adjustability like you have in many other suspension systems on the market. That said, the more high-tech you get, the more cost you add and we like the price-point this sled resides at.

Final Word
The CFR 8 will take you back to the days you felt glued to the trail on your old iron. Its lower, more traditional rider position, and easy handling are a respite from the "snocross" mentality of most current sleds. Don't let it fool you though, this sled can rip through moguls and stutter bumps, but its true home is prowling the lake-race scene with some fun performance add-ons under the hood.

NOTE: Read more about the BOSS Seat that was used on this sled here!
