There's an exciting new choice for snowmobilers who want a little powder with their rough, twisty trails: the 2005 Ski-Doo® MX Z® Renegade™ package. This special limited edition hybrid sled is equipped with two advanced features not available on the 2004 Renegade: the 16-inch wide PowderMax™ track and the semi-direct injection Rotax™ 2-TEC™ 600H.O. engine.
Debuting on the 2004 Summit®-REV model, the PowderMax track boosts the MX Z Renegade's already benchmark capability. The 16x136-inch track [one-inch wider than a standard track] delivers the trail maneuverability and cornering of a 136-inch track with the deep snow flotation of a standard 144-inch track. Consumers can choose either 1.25- or 1.75-inch lug heights.
The 2-TEC 600 H.O. engine is widely praised for delivering class-leading power with remarkable fuel and oil consumption and instantly crisp throttle response. Not to mention the virtual absence of smoke and smell. In fact, this engine is so clean, it is already U.S. EPA 2006 compliant.

Other key features include the SC-10 III-136 rear suspension, HPG shocks, Precision™ dual carbide skis, RER™ electronic reverse, mountain rack and moving mid-height windshield.
