The driver will appreciate the tall windshield on the Venture. It is tall enough to route wind and debris over the helmet, but not too tall that it greatly distorts vision.
Yamaha integrated the RX-1 control pods. Both heater elements will feature the memory found on the high performance sleds so that the warmers maintain their prescribed intensity when you resume your ride.
Storage is the only shortfall in Yamaha's touring lineup. The Venture offers a huge under-seat compartment, but lacks the cargo racks of competitive models.
Yamaha has its Venture 600 priced at $7,599. That places the sled right in the heart of the competitive market.
