Ski-Doo's unique DESS security plug will keep the sled safe when it's parked and unattended. Evildoers cannot get the engine running up to engagement speed without the specifically-encoded plug for any particular sled.
The Legend GT sport package offers Variable Rate shocks in the 136-inch SC-10 III rear suspension. The ADSA front suspension uses standard Motion control gas shocks.
Ski-Doo has put almost all of its creature comfort features on the Legend GT Sport. Pilot and passenger both have adjustable hand grip heaters. The passenger backrest is fully-adjustable to fit either the passenger or the pilot if he chooses to ride solo. The passenger also benefits from a pair of hand gators to deflect wind and snow chunks.
Ski-Doo is clearly positioning the Legend GT 500 SS Sport as its liquid-cooled price leader. At $6,999 MSRP, it is a good $1,400 less than the comparably equipped 600 HO SDI version and at least $1,000 under the closest comparably performing competitive model. Now that's a value.
