Delta Perimeter Frame
All Blade sleds are built on a welded T6-6061 aluminum tubular-style chassis that FAST calls the Delta Perimeter Frame (DPF). The unique chassis design delivers a high degree of rigidity and resistance to flex under stress. All of the suspension mount locations are directly on the DPF, as opposed to other sleds, which put the rear onto the tunnel, then bolster it for strength.
In addition to its basic strength characteristics, the PDF's rigidity allows the suspension systems to be very consistent in their performance. Since the chassis does not flex, the rider can fine-tune each component to deliver the best ride for his or her riding style.
