It's your choice as to what you glean from these results. The sky was gray and overcast, the temperature in the 20-ish range and altitude was not a problem. It was one of the most interesting Shoot-Outs we've done to date. We know that there are flaws and we'll keep working to improve and update our efforts every year.
As we always say, what happened on December 11, 1997 at Woodgate, New York, represents the results of that day only. We make no promises implied or otherwise that the results we obtained would be the same or what you may find when riding with and against your buddies. We run this evaluation on a closed course and under controlled conditions. We do not and cannot recommend nor condone unsafe and unsupervised speed events. Always ride aware and ride safe.
