Just when you thought Polaris might be resting on its laurels...Bang! The Roseau crew pops out a sled that tells the competition that catching up won't be easy.

If you thought the Xtra Light Triple was a winner, and thousands of you did, wait for what's coming. An indication of how serious Polaris is about converting XLT owners over to the newest Polaris is reflected in the late season introduction of the Indy 600 XCR. A limited build sled with oval track aspirations, the new Indy 600 XCR is reason enough for the Indy faithful to remain loyal to Polaris. It has sufficiently more performance and displacement to make XLT and XCR owners want to take a serious look at it.

We are also impressed with the fact that by adding electric start, reverse gear and a taller windshield, you can turn this race track oriented machine into an exceptional sports touring sled.

Polaris has excelled at taking an incredibly correct concept - the original TX-L Indy - and turning it into a fleet of the most rider-friendly snowmobiles in the sport. Changing engines, switching seats and other gear has transformed that original Indy into a complete line of snowmobiles that has become the most popular line in the business. Why is Polaris number one? Simply because the Indy works better, lasts longer and is a better value than anything else in the sport. The Indy 600 XCR is the next stage in the evolution of the Indy. And what an evolution it's turning out to be!

That's why we selected the Polaris Indy 600 XCR as our snowmobile of the year. It epitomizes all the Indys that have gone before it and it indicates how Polaris plans to stay ahead of the pack.
