Cutler's was bursting at the seams. The nearly 8,000
square-foot dealership on State
Street in Orem,
UT, just wasn't big enough to
hold Cutler's burgeoning snowmobile and ATV dealership.
So Dale and Mindy Cutler began to plan-more than eight years
ago-for a new, bigger building that could handle their expanding business.
Then, after 20 years in the smaller building, Cutler's moved next door into a
brand new 20,000-plus square-foot building that is the pride of Arctic Cat. The
Cutlers opened the doors of their new building for business Oct. 5, 2006.
Not only is Cutler's one of the biggest Cat dealers in the
West, it's also an Arctic Cat World Class Dealership, which means the company
has ranked Cutler's store as one of the top five of all Cat dealerships in the
United States.
Now that's the Cat's meow.
The $2.5 million expansion was 15 months in the building
phase but it didn't take long for Cutler's to get comfy in its new home. Dale
Cutler told SnoWest he had his best
year ever in snowmobile sales last winter.
Cutler's is a multi-line dealer. Not only does it sell Cat
snowmobiles and ATVs, but Cutler's carries Honda, Troy Bilt and Toro products
as well. There are actually two of Dale Cutler's businesses in the building-the
dealership and Cutler's Performance
Center.
Cutler made sure during the planning stages that he not only
got a new building, but also plenty of cool new equipment to go
inside-equipment that would allow him to even better serve those looking to hop-up
their sleds.
Cutler said in the dyno room alone he spent a half-million
dollars to upgrade that facility, which includes a new Superflow EDI
dynamometer.
CPC also got a new machine shop, new porting room and new
engine assembly area.
"The new facility better shows off the high end, high
quality, high tech image CPC has tried to convey," Cutler said.
