xlt upgrade

Hi i need a little input as im out of the loop. I have a 94 xlt 580 sks and want to upgrade to say 2006 07 .Mainly go icefishing solo so im looking for something good in the snow.was looking at a 900 switchback 06 blue and a rmk 600 black 07 .Would the 144 track be to long or is 136 ok .I dont want a super long machine as i like sport riding also please respond id there is a better model that would suit me thanks

take the 600. It is lighter more reliable,(one of Polaris most bulletproof motors) more availability of parts and might actually get you something if you decide to sell it.
