Boss or the cat seat. I've heard about some 09 cat seats falling apart, but do the boss seats have the same problem?

I rode the Boss seat on my 07 m8 for 900 miles. I sold it to my buddy the next season. I saw it for the first time this season last weekend and it looks great. It was a little sun-faded because apperently he doesn't use a cover. i really liked that seat, it would hold an 18 pack no prob
