Thanks for the good Info, I was also told that the 07 year had a belt heat issue and 08 year was better. Do you know anything about that? Would the single ring piston not last as long? So the 5.1 track is a better design? Again, thanks for all this great Info.

The heat issue is the same on both sleds (My wife has the 07 dragon and I have the 08).
The 5.1 series track design changed the paddles a little bit. The 07 design left gaps that wouldn't touch the snow. The 5.1 corrected this. Supposed to be 15% better.
I have over 2k miles on my 08 with zero problems.

I have a 2007 DRAGON 700 owned since new, 3700 miles, No problems

On the belt heat issue, my belt was getting somewhat "glazed". Found the clutch alignment considerably off, had to remove the engine and slot the MAG side engine bracket an unbelievable 3/8" to get the alignment PERFECT.Only the 2nd belt in 3700 miles.

My bud also has a 2007, 2300 Miles, ZERO problems, just gas, oil and go!
