Had Snow on Big Mountain last week but of course it was gone by the weekend.
Hope this means we are gonna get a early start!

Nope, not around here. Got back up into the upper 40s up high this week.

I was up at 9350 feet yesterday and saw a pond that had a layer of ice on it.

Thats a good question Scott. The hear say is that it is open but does anyone have cold hard facts

Yeah, and of course we all know the Granite Road is open...but what about "that area off in the trees"

We can ride it until the forest circus releases new maps showing where we can and can't ride. If anyone wants to send me the dates of when they plan to fly the area that would be great, and it would be confidential. Surveyor was great on Sunday. Blue sky and a couple feet of powder.
