V Force Reeds in 05 900RMK

i just installed v force 3 reeds in my 900 and when I start it up, it idles fine, then when I push on the throttle, it doesn't want to spin up, and i have to feather the throttle to get it to spin up. Do I have to take it in and have the ECU re-flashed, or do you think I did something wrong on the install?

is the check engine light flashing?

check the throttle cable adjustment and make sure it isn't loose activating the kill feature in the throttle block.

also you could have damaged the wires on the tps sensor harnes. they are brittle and break very often. they make replacement harnesses.

go to the 900 forum there are a lot of guys that can help plus there is a ton of info in there.

one more thing, did you trim the throttle body boots so the reeds would fit tight against them and seal properly?

if not you could have a vacuum leak there.

Sounds like install,loose bad connection contact etc. Was an easy insall...as easy as a 900 is!
