Track Porting Question...

Hello all, I just cut down a Camoplast Challenger track to fit on my F7 and was wondering about porting the track. I was told to keep the holes away from the wheels and on the inside. But when i measured there would only be about a 1/2" space between the holes if i did it 2 down the center... Any ideas?

Thanks

Porting

I ported my camo extreme on my m7 162 and one of the three holes ran over you can't get much more then 1/2 in away from the wheels.

Personally I don't like the performance of a ported track, on deep days it trenches bad, but I did 1" holes.
In spring snow I liked it.
But for me the trade off wasn't worth it.

Do you drill through the nobbies on the inside of the track? Could you post some pictures, i just dont want to ruin the track. Thanks!
