Snowmobile trails opened???

I live up in Three Lakes and I heard that Vilas trails opened at noon today? Anyone here similar? It was 35 today and it rained most of the day. Forcast is for warm temps all week. Why would they open the trails when there is no snow? O well 14 days till the Big Horns!!!!
