A neighbour stopped in to ask about the reverse on his 900 Mtn Cat. It wont engage anymore. I undid the linkage and tried to engage it manually and it still will not engage...only grinds....Im not familiar with mechanical reverse..is there a fork on a shaft that engages a reverse cut gear or what is the deal? I didnt want to tear the chaincase open at the time to inspect. Ideas? Thanks
