Rail trimming

Well I'm replacing my (03 sno pro firecat chassis) track with a attack 20 128", 3.0 pitch and A/C Ext. drivers. Problem is drivers and rails can't occupy that same space so rail need to be trimmed. My question is how much do I trim off the tip of the rail? Yes I am looking to put anti stab kit in as well. If anyone has done this setup how much difference is the gearing from the stock 2.52 drivers?

I trimed the rails on my king for the same reason. Take about 5/8 of an inch off the rails. Then you will have to notch the rail capsto fit over the hifax. Then run the bolt that holds the caps on through the hole that the hifax nut is in.
