Pro Throtle block

14 pro throttle block came loose tried to snug up and now throttle is sticky, and activates the throttle safety switch. Someone said to just buy the next size bigger set screw in American and snug up. tried that and still seems to be sticky. Is there something inside that is binding? New throttle block? Anyone know if the new 16 is same block.

My 14 does the same thing. Loosen the set screw all the way then take a pair of channel locks and clamp the back side of the block , you'll notice that it is split. Clamp it until it clicks back together. I've found that if I don't tighten the set screw too much it doesn't happen as often
