You are choosing the smaller engine and the shorter track? The only way I would even think about the 8, is if it were a 162. I would buy the newest, biggest motor, longest track you can afford. Thats just me! Good Luck! -00's

$6800 is alot cheaper than what they were selling for last year. Heinens throws some great deals. Wish the dealer in Madison would offer something even close to that!

Here in the eastern sd, we never seem to get much snow, but when we do, the ditches are usually full from drifting, so riding around here on a mountain sled is no big deal, dont really get to do it much though. I would say that of the last 1000 miles Ive put on my sled, 800-900 were in the mountains

i would buy the m8 inless u like buying belts the 1000 eats belt like crazy at 75 bucks a pop is the 1000 worth it? m8 153 or 162 best sled out i think. 6800 thats a good deal ask the dealer if he can still do the power claw if not take and buy one with the money you saved. the 08s track sucks i think

I have rode both. If i were you i would get a M1000 162". The 153" just arent good enough. If you are looking to turbo though get the M8 for sure. The M1000 just takes alittle more effort to ride then the M8. Just my.02

around here in eastern, sd 08 crossfire 800 standard holdovers were goin for about 8,200, and ive seen a couple of 07 m1000s for 7,000. Thats why i buy my sleds at country cat in Sauke Centre, MN!

You should be arrested for stealing, get them to swap the track and you have a good sled for a great price. You may want to kiss him on the back of the neck since your right there. Enjoy either sled is a good choice. The 200 is well worth it.

they dont have the track swap promotion anymore, but I like the challenger I have on my sled now, just glad I didnt get the attack 20 I wanted, because I think I woulda wanted the power claw
