For all you Cat guys that have powervalves...this is a cool new tool to help you with you powervalves. Throw this baby in your pack and adjust cables on the trail if you get a powervalve error code. M6/M7 is one tool, 800/900 standup motors are another, and the M8/M1000 is one.

They are setup to pull the cables off the motor, lay them on the table for adjustment or inspection and then GO!

PM me if you are interested:D

Sorry for leaving it out of the original post. They are $29.99 USD. This is an introductory offer. I have dealer pricing available and programs. They are small so the freight is not bad. PM me for details. I have answered all pms as of right now and will get back to you right away if you have questions.:D

Looks nice. On another thread I saw many different opinions as to the measurement on a carb 900 1m 2004. What measurement does your device use? Seems there were discrepancies in owners manual vs shop manual vs dealer advice.

Thanks.

The 800/900 standup motor is 39.5mm. I have not seen any different info in the service manuals or tech bulletins.

The M6/M7 is 34.5mm

The M8/M1000 is 34.8-35.2mm our tool is 35mm

Any questions let me know, all new pms are sent.

Maybe you can shed more light on this. I'd like to know for sure because I don't want to damage anything.

From my Arctic Cat 2004 Snowmobile Operator's Manual, page 22 -
Minimum/Maximum cable length (mm):
800cc = 41.6/42.6
900cc = 42.6/42.6 (one of these must be wrong)

Info from photocopy/picture out of an Arctic Cat service manual which was posted on another thread last fall:
http://snowest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90211
800cc = 30.6/31.6
900cc = 30.6/31.6
I was told the 30.6 for the 900 should actually be 34.5mm. I set it at 34.5 and it seems to run great. The cables have a little slack when the engine is off vs a lot of slack at 42mm. BTW, my dealer told me 39.5 but that seemed to be too much play in the cable?

Another guy on the above thread said - i've got two manuals an 04 and and 05, for the 900 the 04 manual says 38.5mm
and for the 05 it says 39.5 mm i just split it and went 39mm i hope it works, haven't tried it yet.
