my 02 edge bulid

well this is what i have been doing for the last year or so lets see i bought a 02 xc 800 edge X with out a motor back last year
and bought a motor for it this year from bad Oscar customs 02 800 mill crank worked over trued and welded double wide pto bearing
the rest stock till next year

then i have been buying parts here and there i long tracked it to 144 with 8in big wheels 2 in track
i just bought a bar a raiser setup waiting for it to come in the only thing left to get is skis so if anyone has a set of yellow red or black skis they don't need let me know here are some pics ill get more in a few days enjoy

Don't forget the snowflap, they look kinda retarded without them. Oh wait, need to do that to my son's 600 also. :D

Ditch the stock seat, get a used lighter one. Turn your rack 90* and lengthen the rods so you'll have actual storage space.

yeah the gas rack i gota make a lil wider and as far as a seat if i find one cheep ill buy it but i cant do much right now i lost my job due to a plant shut down a few months ago thats kinda why iam draging my feet on this sled

i did a project like this with my 02 edge x 700 a few years back. went 136" with a 2" lug. that was a sweet sled..especially off trail. it just went forever(we get about 3-5' of powder around here in a whole season so its a little different than outwest)

I'm using those same gas cans. Do yourself a favor before winter and find an o-ring, rubber gasket, or different cap for the rear vents. They rely on a plastic tapered plastic seat to seal and when they get to bouncing around, it starts leaking. I finally twisted them down so tight that the cap split. Otherwise though, great cans cause they're so narrow and 2-1/2 gallons each, you can pack 5 gallons around easily:beer;
