Getting to 7700rmp with an SLP pipe?

Good question! How does one get the 07 M1000 to 7700 rpm (4 weigth clutch). I had to drop from the 68 gram weights I used with the stock pipe to 60 gram weights with the SLP pipe. I tinkered with it while in Cooke City Sunday. With the 60 gram weights I was able to get 7600-7680 rpm on the trail out side of town (7600ft). The weather was so bad up top that I couldn't see well enough to test it at the higher altitude (9000-10,000ft).
I have all stock clutching but had to add 1 spacer in the secondary clutch to get the back shift right. Now I have 3 spacers in the secondary (mine came with 2 spacers from the factory).
I am thinking I will have to drop lower than 60 gram weights to hold the rpm at the higher altitudes. Can any one comfirm that dropping so much weight is right?
Also, what springs are people using in the secondary clutches? It is probably better to upgrade springs in lieu of adding so many spacers.

Remember the shift assist takes away at least 200rpms. Also put the D&D tan spring in your primary,It is 150/330, helps. I runat9/11000 ft and turn 7800/7900. My secomdary is RTK 36helix and green pro spring.

Bounty Hunter,
Do you have a 3 or 4 weight clutch and what weights are you using?
