Have a 2005 king cat efi. Was out in CO with ran great the first day until the thermostat stuck and it overheated. Towed it back to trailer, tried starting and it instantly reved up till I hit the kill switch. Put new thermostat in the next day and checked to make sure throttle bodies were closed. Started and same thing so checked the reeds, boots, throttle bodies everthing was ok. Still did the same thing, pulled one spark plug started it ran like it should on one cylinder then tried the other one and started reving up. So it is the left cylinder (clutch side) that is my problem. Compression is good piston wash is good plugs are good. Open for any ideas. Thanks.
