Kehin to Mikuni Conversion

I want to switch to a 40mm flat slide mikuni rack. Does anyone have any suggestions on jetting? What about the needles? I have 8DGY1 (I think it is off a 2001 700 rmk). I'm putting it on a 98 600 running between 6 and 9000.

Jet it as per the 2001 RMK600 specs which are the first link. I included the 700 specs also for comparison so you can note the differences in case your carbs are from the 700 model. Factory jetting was for 6 to 9000 feet so just follow the spec sheet for initial setup.
