I ride a M-8 2007 and I have a speedwerx y-pipe,single pipe,can, reeds, cold air intake from Cutler Racing. Cutler told me that if I put this intake on with out a fuel control box I would be way to lean... with that said I bought a fuel with attitude control box and installed and tried to ride this weekend and was way to rich with all fuel setting backed off. I pulled the fuel box off and was back to stock and rode as hard as I could for the conditions and checked my plugs and they looked good. My question can I run with out this box and be safe and get some egt gauges? Would this be safe or should I put the box back on and get gauges? If any one can help me with this, I am pretty green when it comes to motors.
