153, The 162 was a little to hard to control for a guy my size, 5'9 165 lbs. The 153 seems to me to have the best of both worlds, can climb and powder with the 162 and eaiser to boondock, I ride a 07 M8 and can stay with MBeeson's 900 162 (sorry mike, couldn't resist:p)on the hills and in deep powder.

i prefer the 153 for the extra bit of manueverability(sp?) theres three m7s in our group my 153 PC, a 153 chall., and 162 chall. and from what i've seen there aint no real benefits to the 162. in the little bit of soft snow we had they are all 3 neck and neck, and once it started firming up my powerclaw will usually himark either one of the other two. oh and i weigh in around 240 without gear so a 153 is plenty for a fatty like me so if your one of them slim fellas it will be even better.

I am one of the only sleds in my group that run a 162. I consistently run past each and every one of them with a 162 powerclaw. A 153 may be easier to throw around in the trees, but I still go any place they go in the trees, but they can't follow me up the hill.

I rode a stock 162 the other day in 2 feet of fresh. Then swapped with a buddy that had a stock 153. Honestly the 153 felt as nimble as a 121. I couldn't believe how much more I could do in the trees. It was much easier to change direction with it on the hill and no less of a climber.

I have a 153 turbo m8 HIGHLY recommend it. Worth the $$$. You can take it off and put it on next years sled. Bin doing it since my 05 m7
