i just got a 30-40 krag from my grandpa and have no idea about these guns any help would be great. the only numbers i can find on it are 97969 and nothing else on the gun. thanks for any help
got to love the old guns,,i've got a 38-40 model 1887 marlin made in 1889thru 1901..do a search on the gun sites and you should be able to find the approximate build date
