Hey Guys, a question for you all I bought a used KingCat several years ago and it had a brand new UltraMax belt with about 2inches of deflection which I now is way to much, any way I had some new stock belts and have been running them but they are showing there wear so I am trying the UltraMax belt and removing shims in the secondary, the closest I can get is about 3/4 inch which seems alittle tight, I have not tried it on the snow and if it squeals I now it is to tight, any feed back would be appreciated, I would like to get it to work if possable MADDOGWFO

My understanding is you need an 1-1/4" (inch and a 1/4) belt deflection measured by putting a straight edge on top of the belt spanning across the primary and secondary clutches then pushing down on the belt between (in the center) the clutches with a ridgid ruler to get the measurement.
