Crank advise

I spun a rod bearing in my 99 600xc engine.
My question is, Is it worth it to get a reman crank and put it in there with new bearings and top end? Or should I look in to finding a different engine... What are some pros and cons of a full rebuild?

Will a 700 crank work in a 600?
Anyone know a good place to get a reman crank besides ebay?
