Arctic Cat clutching

Hello: I just bought an 09 M8 std. Came over from Doo. Had a 600 summit. Went to Idaho riding and need an 800 to haul my fat butt around. Rode an XP but did not like the throttle pull and carbs.
Question? Cat clutching is totally new to me. Are there any books or CD's which could explain the workings of Cat clutches? I'm a flatlander in the U.P. of Michigan who will be making 1 and possibly 2 trips out west next year and would like to be able to do my own clutch work. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You clutching needs are quite simple -

1. Install an Arctic Cat gold spring in the primary for all altitudes.
2. Purchase Dalton HD/ QACA-2W adjustable weights and run them at 79 grams for the UP and 73.5 grams (remove all the adjustable set screws) for out west. http://www.daltonindustries.com/products_arcticcat_snowmobile.asp
