Anybody thought of a big bore kit in the M8

Just wondering if anybody has thought about putting a big bore kit on there
M8. I see D&D has put out a 901 BB for the 8's. What are the pro's and cons of the big bore? Or should a person just stick with the SLP performance package

i thought about it , speedwerx has a 925. 170 hp 115 tq.. if i hadnt bought the 800 pipe,y,can it would be a more attractive option ,, cant use the 80o pipe stuff on the 925 ,, so its 2k for bore kit + pipe+y+can ,3k

i went a different route

I believe Rktek has been testing a 900 BB option for the 800's, but has not released yet as they are still working on dialing it in.

RKtek's 700-800 BB kit makes 170 hp with a single pipe, those #'s seem low for a 925

the dyno stage tuning of the 800 in the dec 08 snowtech shows 160hp 106 tq on ported w/single speedwerx.. and later mention the 925 /800 BB kit being 170+ also

if slp can get more out of the 800 than speedwerx then they are doing something right, AC has them do a lot of work in thier race programs

I believe that dyno chart about as much as I believe a M1000 with just a SLP single puts out 192 hp. SLP stuff works, but I question their dyno charts.

So when did SLP get a reputation for B.S. dyno readings? I can tell you with having this kit that if the 169hp is not correct then it is 168hp.

so maybe not comparing apples to apples

the stage tuning 800 was just porting, single, Y with boondockerbox
