Air duct question on M/CF hood

Im just wondering what everyone is doing hold up there stock air duct or boot, whatever you want to call it, when you put a low flyscreen windshield on that doesn't have the tabs for the rubber rings to go around. Without those tabs fastened in there it appears the duct will slide down and away from the intake hole on the mag side and possibly suck in some snow. Anyone have pics of what they have done?

Took a broken windshield and cut the tabs off so they were wide enough at the top to not slip through the slot and used the original rubber o-rings to hold the tabs in place. Can also fashion the same out of any thin plastic.
