Aftermarket can wont work after 1000 update

Anyone have problems with there 1000 after the update with there can on.I am running a ultra q can it work sweet before the updateMy sled just falls on its face from about 5500-wo.My sled is stock.Runs good with the stock muffler.Any ideas what the problem may be.

It might be a coincidence. I would check your powervalve cables, etc

Its not the power valves I put the stock muffler back on after it ran crappy with the can and it works fine.

this used to be super common on the 700 lay down motors. The biggest difference in the mapping is that the mid range is fatter than before. SO - my guess would be that your can lacks the necessary back pressure and therefore is bogging due to that. You may have noted that as part of the 2009 update the can was modified to have LESS insulation than before. IE - less heat retention in the can. Something to think about i guess.
