800 ZX guys... how many belts a year?

How many belts do you guys go through in a season? I use DAYCO...('cause, I got like 20 of them when I bought the sled..) and I put on close to 800 miles last season and I went through 2 belts and this season Im on my second belt and have only put on not even 300 miles..

this normal? Anyone have anything against dayco?

Need an alignment or clutch work. That is not right.

X2 on clutch/belt not right - alignment, offset and/or setup. Had 800zx's once upon a time, and getting +1k miles out of a belt was the norm, OEM venting, and never floated the secondary on those sleds. The 2000 700zx was just as good. Was running doo OEM belts.
