Found strange metal fragments in chain case. Decided to check all bearings. Got it tore apart but can't remove clutch side bearing from jackshaft, or get the shaft out of the sled. Am I missing something? Also the driveshaft bearing on the clutch side does not come off either, is this pressed on in some way? Any ideas or help would be great.

Both bearings on the clutch side have a lock coller on them. Look for the set screw in the lock coller and loosen with an alen wrench. Than you will have to twist the lock coller to release it from the bearing. The bearing will come off now. Sometimes they are rusted to the shaft pretty good and may take some work.

Thanks, I see the hole now in the collar to use a punch and move it if necessary. Bearing is tight, looks like I got some work and swearing to do....
Thanks
