Ihave a 04 king cat 900. and last weekend it was runing like crap so looked at it in the shop and it was mising the screws holding the boots on to the carbs. so i think it was sucking air so it ran like crap. so i thought i had it fixed and also cleaned the carbs. so went and rode it yesterday and half a mile up the trail it died and took the plugs out and one had white specks on it. so i think i melted the piston again. would not having those screws on their do that? I just put replated cilenders and new pistons at the begining of the season.
