I have an 01 summit 800 that I rode in the hills over presidents day weekend. Not much for a base out there so plenty of stumps and trees were found. I broke a shock and trailing arm. In the past i have seen plenty of sleds being parted out on here but can't seem to find any of them anymore. If anyone knows where i can find parts that would be great. Or of any junkyards that have ski doo parts.
TIA.
Nick

go to the parts and accessories section and click on what part of the machine you are looking for, also you can find some parts on Doo talk.com or Hard core sledders.com or snowmobilers.com Back country rebels.com I'm sure outta these you will be able to find some good parts sources. Good Luck!

Me too! my 02 met the same fate. Ebay sucks guys on there want what would be cost of new trailing arm! Dang rocks! looks like i bent the bolt where the back end of the trailing arm connects also. is it possible that it bent the bulk head? it hit so hard i flew over the handlebars. Trailing arm looks like an "A"

I went over the bars from hitting a rock at 5 mph. It bent the trailing arm and the rear bolt mount back. I used an old motorcycle fork to put on the end of the mount and pulled the mount back forward. I measured off the other side from the ski tip to the bolt and the rear idlers to the bolt to make sure I had the mount back in the correct spot.

Make sure you have someone hood onto the sled when making your correction our you will just pull the sled in circles:D

My brother in law found a guy that makes a trailing arm system that has a removable bar for the arm so if you bend or break one you unscrew the busted one and screw in the new one. I think the whole kit is 200. It's 50 for 2 new bars which is a hell of a lot cheaper than finding stock trailing arms. I can try to post pics of it later or pm me and I can e-mail or text pictures

I think i bent my rear support also! I hope i can bend mine back.... Talked to a guy willing to help, this being my first oops with this sled, so i'm up to all the help i can get!
