what do you guys think about hauling a 20" Aluma 4 place with 4 m8's from MN to Snowies with a yukon xl 1500 with a 5.3

I'm assuming it is an open 20' Aluma? You shouldn't have any problem, just use the tow/haul mode to help keep it from shifting all the time. I've been hauling sleds on open trailers in the mountains with my 01 Silverado 5.3 for ten years without a problem. If it's an enclosed trailer then you have a different animal, more weight and wind loads to deal with.

No problem with a 7' enclosed with 4 mtn sleds in it and all of our gear from michigan to wyoming.
