LOL! i know..."Shred The Gnar" (short for Shredding The Gnarly POW or BIG HILLS or whatever) is a TOTALLY tongue-n-cheek thing Shane Kelley came up with this season. you've got to remember that we SO don't take ourselves seriously with all this stuff and just have more fun crackin' each other up. It will make more sense once you see the film...
