Your thoughts on the 141 M8.

Chit. We have two 141’s in the trailer. Both go great in the deep pow. Sure you have to ride it a little more aggressive but that’s half the fun. For years I rode a 136 in the hills and went everywhere. The 141’s are fun sleds. Wish Arctic Cat would let you spring check them.

My 07' M8 141 that had 2600 mtn. miles on it when sold worked so well in a wide range of conditions that I bought a 10' CF and spent the extra $ to gear down and Powerclaw it versus buying the 153. Not the cheapest or easyest way to go but what I felt was best for me. If all you do is ride with longer tracked sleds either your skills will improve or your going to be in awesome shape by the end of the season!

I thought that was 2600 EZ miles by your girlfriend:rolleyes: lol

Thanks for the gas rack...

Kurt

09 CF8SP with a Power Claw here. Couldn't be happier.

Added the PC, some Powder-Pro's and 57/63 gears. Then ditched the sway bar.

I call it my HCF... Hill-CrossFire.:beer;

I have a 162 and came over backwards. makes me wounder what a 141 would do. If anyone out rode me where I ride on a 141 I would switch but I don't buy it. I was out climbing a friend on my 07 162 and his was a 08 153 same mods and he was 60 lbs lighter, except on hard pack. But if I could get the sled down to 400lbs I would definitely go shorter.

The one question I havent found is simple................how much do you weigh ?

I bought a 06 M7 141 for the wife becuse it should be easier to ride AND she is 110 lbs wet with a backpack on !

I think for me, the ski's would never touch the snow, maybe that's why their so fun !

I wouldent be afraid to try it. Some argue a shorter track with higher track speed performs better all around. I chose a 153' for my fat asss to each thier own !

I have a M-7 141 and the M-8 141 I have just loved them, it’s been Absolutely some of the funniest sleds I have ever owned. It is Extremely easy to put anywhere, it does really great in deep snow! I put a powder claw on it this year should be able to go and do anything, The longer tracks do better in deep climbing but I have never had a problem with that either.
