These scum are out for exposure and you can be sure they will have thier own cameras there to help convict anyone doing what they soooo deserve to have happen to them. Do it..... but dont let em catch you;). On the other hand.. what court would convict anyone who taught these fux a lesson. sj

Any liberal judge in America.

Get serious, these people make there money by suing others.

They are protected in America by the 1ST amendment.

They came to Omaha over they summer for a soldiers funeral, they stir up trouble but never break a law. Fred Phelps is good at this, been doing it for years.

WHAAT !!! There would be a whole lot of people leaking red and crying over broken limbs if they showed up at the funerals of my friends or family. ***gin douche bags. Maybe slap happy pappy needs to go for a drive. lol

Found this under the wikipedia article on the church:

Laws limiting funeral protests
In response to the protests conducted by Westboro members at Indiana funerals, a bill was introduced in the Indiana General Assembly that would make it a felony to protest within 500 feet (approximately 150 meters) of a funeral. The bill provides penalties of up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine for those found to be in violation of the law. Shortly before this bill was signed members of the church had threatened to protest in Kokomo, Indiana, at a funeral service that was being held for a soldier who was killed in Iraq. On January 11, 2006 the bill unanimously (11-0) passed a committee vote,[53] and while members of the church had traveled to Kokomo to protest, they were not seen during or after the funeral service.

Several other states, such as South Dakota, have adopted similar legislation. Some have been critical of these laws, however, saying that they could prevent other protests and may violate the First Amendment right to freedom of speech. WBC has expressed their intention to contest these laws, and if victorious collect damages while the Phelps Chartered law firm collects attorney's fees under the Civil Rights Attorney's Fees Award Act of 1976.

On 23 May 2006 the state of Michigan banned any intentional disruption of funerals within 500 feet of the ceremony. Violating the statute would be a felony, punishable by up to two years in prison and a $5,000 fine for the first offense and up to four years in prison and a $10,000 fine for a subsequent offense.[54]

On 17 May 2006 the state of Illinois enacted Senate Bill 1144, the "Let Them Rest In Peace Act", to shield grieving military families from protests during funerals and memorial services of fallen soldiers. A first time violation of the Act is a Class C misdemeanor, punishable by up to 30 days in jail and a $1,500 fine and a Class 4 felony for a second or subsequent offense, which is punishable by one to three years in state prison and a fine of up to $25,000.[55]

Any lawyers in the house? Maybe British Columbia has something similar???

This just makes me sick

Anybody who pickets a funreal has no respect for the dead, therefor should have their azzes kicked. They also have no respect for the people who are weak from mourning. Maybe everyone should show up to the funeral in support and removed these arrogant individuals. Times are tough enough as it is......just my .02

i think they should be brought up to the sight of the avalanche...you know...just to kind of get a feeling for everything...oh yea just leave them for a while...have the good old air force do a flyover with the sonic boom..gee don't know where they went...must have taken a stroll ... oh well if they don;t show up at home there loved ones will call...good thing these varmit don;t have loved ones

People get shot over road rage, and talking at the movies, and someone hasn't put a contract out on these guys yet. The world's getting soft.

These guys have a history of sendingout a press release stating that they are coming to such and such and have no intention of showing. That's not to say they won't, but often they will just make a stink purely for the shock value and not follow through.

Well I for one can tell you's that if these guys come to Sparwood and do that you wont have to worry about them coming back to the states again, they will probably be beaten pretty badly or worse. Or arrested and they wont be treaten very well in the jail. The difference with Canada is that its relatively difficult to sue anyone for an assault unless you mess them up really badly, and then you probably get your medical expenses paid and maybe a touch more but nothing like what you would see down south. So really why would they even want to come here ?
