My little Bro lost a son a few years back. What hurt the most, besides his little boy being gone, was seeing him go through the tragic ordeal. If there is any silver lining that we took from the experience is that it brought us closer as a family and really made us appreciate eachother a lot more. Not that the experience made it any easier. Like you said make sure your loved ones and especially your little ones know how much you love and care about them.
